Camping with friends somewhere near the Yuba River. Legend has it the Ewoks stayed here during filming. I was too scared to sleep in the cabin so I crashed in the more modern unfinished sauna, which never had running water. The only call I made the whole time was to inform the ladies (who brought fois gras which was bicycled across europe before being presented to the table and put my olive tapenade to shame) to bring a block of ice or two for the old school fridge.

I've had this bike for almost a decade and now it may be time to part ways. I'm in need of an upgrade. This is also the third in a series of C-Stand shots I'm working on in the studio. Thinking of riding home but just got my wisdom tooth pulled so a little out of it.

Oakland Museum of California (Redux)

So I was able to roll into the Oakland Museum of California on it's last day before closing for a four year reconstuction. Not sure what they'll do with all these birds, foxes and bears and what not but hope they will be accessibe soon. And yes it is a bit morbid to go from dead flowers to dead animals but I promise my subject matter will become more alive in the posts to come.

but these flowers are. sure I've been slacking on BDF the last few months due to being busy and technical glitches so now I'm going to slowly post new and old random stuff just like I used to.
